Summary of use during lactation
No information is available on the use of aprepitant during breastfeeding. Because aprepitant is more than 95% bound to plasma proteins, the amount in milk is likely to be low. If the mother requires aprepitant, it is not a reason to discontinue breastfeeding. However, consideration should be given to any chemotherapy the mother is receiving.
